We take accommodation recommendations in our itineraries very seriously
as per destination
In the itinerary you will always find our recommendation of various particular accommodation facilities. We choose accommodation primarily on the basis of our personal experience, further according to independent reviews of other visitors and also the ratio of price and quality. Location and cleanliness play a special role.
In the itinerary for Hawaii we choose accommodation in places which statistically have the highest number of sunny days and from which you can get to the other parts of each island by car.
On Big Island of Hawaii, Maui and Kauai we prefer condos. A condo offers more space than a hotel room.
The condo will have a fully equipped kitchen with a large fridge, washing machine and dryer. The condominium resort is always beautifully green and usually has a swimming pool. You can get to the beach in a few minutes on foot or by car.
There are beach towels, beach chairs and a beach cooler available which come in very handy.
On the island of Oahu you will be able to choose from the recommended hotels on the world famous Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. Each recommended hotel has a pool and offers different room categories you can choose from.
In the itinerary for Fiji we recommend a wide range of accommodation on small islands (off the main island) because the weather is in principle better over there and the environment or the conditions for snorkeling and other water activities are fantastic. You can choose a specific island and accommodation based on your preferences. We mapped many places in this area and picked the best ones.
In Australia our itinerary recommends great hotels right in the heart of Melbourne and Sydney to serve as a convenient base for active relaxation in both and around these big cities, including first class beaches.
During your road trip in the Sunshine State of Florida you will be staying at various places. In Miami it will be a hotel right in South Beach - in its southern part, which is known for its Art Deco style (not a too busy, multi-storey hotel where most tourists end up). In Key West you can choose a traditional Bed & Breakfast in the historic district. Along the way, you can stay in high-quality motels on the doorstep of national or amusement parks, a high-quality hotel in West Palm Beach and right next to Fort Lauderdale's attractive beach or in a green oasis among its water canals. You can enjoy the islands on the west coast of Florida from the excellent beachfront apartments.
When exploring the most beautiful natural wonders of New Zealand, to rest after a busy day is always very important. That's why you start at an excellent hotel in Auckland and during the whole road trip you will always stay in very pleasant motels along the way. In some places you will spend more than one night so that you do not have to change accommodation too often, and in such cases our itinerary will help you to find a great hotel in the center of it all.
You will certainly appreciate the wonderful views right in the national park located around New Zealand's highest peak, Mt. Cook, where you also spend a night.
Equally important is the even distribution of driving distances across the days. The distances that you need to drive according to the itinerary are always adequate.
In Cook Islands you will enjoy first-class hotels on the outskirts of beautiful lagoons that have nothing to do with traditional holiday resorts. You can choose from a variety of room categories, from garden studios to spacious beachfront suites.
Start and finish the day with a delicious meal overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
