🇲🇴 macau esim short trip
Macau eSIM
No GB to pick upfront. Top up the wallet, use data in Macau as you need it; afterwards we count what you actually used and charge whichever math comes out cheapest.
Get started →What a trip here roughly costs
Estimated over 3 days at about 1 GB a day — 3 GB total. An illustrative trip, not a commitment: you never have to decide upfront.
The gap comes from us combining plans for you. It is not a discount — it is two ways of pricing the same usage, and we charge the lower one.
- Lowest threshold
- $3.90 / 1 GB
- Per-GB rate
- $4.50 / GB
Your actual amount depends on what you actually use, settled over a 30-day window at the tariff disclosed before payment.
One wallet, no country to choose
There is no such thing as a "Macau plan" at soda. The same wallet works everywhere we cover — this page just spells out what Macau actually looks like.

Macau eSIM: why ours is 4G and not 5G
Read the Macau eSIM guide →Common questions
Is this 5G in Macau?
No, and we'd rather say it upfront: in Macau this line rides CTM's 4G network, on a roaming line that exits in Singapore. There is another version that exits in Hong Kong, rides both CTM and 3, and is labeled 5G — we deliberately chose the former, trading 5G for the exit location. Maps, photos and video are fine on 4G; if this trip absolutely needs 5G, this card isn't the one.
Just a day or two in Macau — worth it?
Yes. A short trip usually isn't much data, so that's all soda charges — no minimum. The leftover balance never expires and waits for your next trip.
